Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau discussed cooperation against transnational crime with OUR representatives
On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, 13:00-14:30 a.m., at the meeting room of the DSI's Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau, the Bureau Director Pol.Col. Akarapol Punyopashtambha and his officials welcomed Mr.Chad Smith, a representative of the Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) Foundation, and his team who came to congratulate the Director on his new position as the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau.
The Director and Mr.Smith talked about the previous collaboration between the DSI and the OUR in controlling human trafficking and crime against children. They also discussed their future cooperation in terms of making complaints, giving clues, supporting investigations, rehabilitating victims, and organizing training courses for enhancing the DSI capacity for fighting against transnational crime, human trafficking, and cybercrime.
