DSI Deputy Director-General gave an interview to O.U.R.
On January 6, 2021, Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha (a Deputy Director-General) gave an interview in Thai and English to the Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), a foreign private organization that supports the work of DSI and other Thai agencies in solving the problems of human trafficking and child sexual abuse for years. The Deputy Director-General mentioned the role and determination of the executives and officials of the DSI to investigate special crime, especially human trafficking and child sexual abuse cases, the cooperation between the government and private sectors to assist and remedy the victims, and the use of victim-centered approach guideline among agencies to achieve the same goal for effectively suppressing human trafficking and child sexual abuse for elevating the status of Thailand in the TIP Report.
