DSI Made Inspection Visit to Boost Confidence for 1 February Lottery Buyers

 

 

       On Wednesday 1 February 2023 at 11.00 am, DSI Deputy Director-General Police Major Yuthana Praedam and DSI Spokesperson Ms Pitchaya Tharakornsunti paid a visit to Lottery Online Co., Ltd. to inspect lottery tickets, clear up doubts and boost public confidence in claiming prizes for the lottery drawings on 1 February 2023.

      This visit follows the incident where special case inquiry officials on 31 January 2023 informed Lottery Online Co., Ltd. and Panthawat Nakwisut, aka Not of Kong Salak Plus, of the charges related to 2 Special Cases : Special Case no. 288/2565 for jointly laundering money and Special Case no. 6/2566 for jointly engaging in online or electronic gambling business without permission and jointly laundering money. Bank accounts related to the cases are also frozen.

       The Department of Special Investigation wishes to inform the general public of how to claim prizes for the lottery drawings on 1 February 2023 that Kong Salak Plus will verify the name and personal information of customers who bought winning lottery tickets from Kong Salak Plus. To ensure fairness and protect the rights of lottery winners, DSI special case investigation team will monitor and supervise all stages - from checking the names of buyers and lottery winners to lottery payouts.

       Lottery winners obtain winning lottery tickets from Kong Salak Plus and claim their prizes at the Government’s Lottery Office.
