DSI Center against Fake News received a complaint letter about entering false information of the COVID-19 vaccine into computer from Mr.Srisuwan Chanya
On May 31, 2021, Pol.Lt.Col.Korrawat Panprapakorn (the Director-General) accompanied by Pol.Lt.Col.Supat Thamthanarug (a Deputy Director-General as the Director of the Center to Investigate and Counter Fake News during the Covid-19 Outbreak) received a complaint letter from Mr.Srisuwan Chanya (the Secretary-General of the Association to Protect the Thai Constitution) requesting the DSI to inspect the act of 2 members of the House of Representatives who tweeted information on social media in a false manner that may be regarded as an offence under the Computer-Related Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007) and severely violated the ethical standards, and submitting the information as supporting evidence to his request for fact-finding inspection. The DSI by its Center to Investigate and Counter Fake News during the Covid-19 Outbreak will collect and analyze information for investigating and finding facts.
