DSI invites people lured by private company to invest in condominium projects in Chon Buri, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Phuket provinces to give information to its investigation team

The invitation to give information of the case to the DSI resulted from the receipt of complaints from injured persons requesting inspection of the case of foreigners tricked into investing in condominium businesses or properties of the project “Phetchaburi Park” by the New Nordic Development Company Limited persuasively advertising and offering benefits at the rate higher than the highest interest rate payable by financial institutions under the Loan of the financial institutions Act regarded as loaning money to defraud the people subject to the Emergency Decree on Loan Amounting to Public Cheating and Fraud, B.E.2527 with damage over 34,000 million baht and severe impacts on the national economic system and public order. The Director-General of the DSI, therefore, ordered to accept the case for investigation as its special case.

Besides, finding out that many foreigners tempted by the said company to invest in its projects in Chon Buri (Pattaya), Surat Thani (Samui), Chumphon and Phuket provinces, apart from its project in Phethchaburi province, the Director-General issued his order to investigate all circumstances and actions of the company. Thus, for obtaining information of benefit to its investigation, the DSI invites the injured persons wishing to give information to the DSI to submit information via the QR Code or link https://forms.gle/clm3etUGM7LUBMMW9. If there is any question, please contact the Bureau of Natural Resources and Environment Crime for more details at 0-2831-9888 ext. 50539, 50501 or the hotline 1202 of the DSI (free call nationwide).
