An appointment for the questioning of victims in Special Case no. 247/2565 (concerning persuasion to invest in FOREX trading with IBH Bank in Malaysia) from 1 June to 30 August 2023 is to be postponed.
The DSI investigation indicates that this case involves extraterritorial offences. The Attorney General has appointed a public prosecutor to investigate the case together with DSI special case inquiry officials. It is therefore required by law to hold a joint meeting with the public prosecutor to determine the course of the investigation. Special case inquiry officials cannot conduct the questioning of victims on their own.
This announcement is to inform the victims who have made an appointment of the postponement. Once all legal requirements are satisfied, the special case inquiry officials will summon the victims for questioning.
