DSI welcomed the Bangladesh's PBI delegation
On June 28, 2018, 1:30 p.m., at the DSI, Pol.Lt.Col. Paisith Sungkahapong, (Director of the Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime), and his team welcomed 25 officials from the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), People's Republic of Bangladesh. In this visit, the PBI delegation learned the DSI's roles and responsibilities lectured by Mr. Udomkaan Warotamasikkhadit (Head of the Bureau's Foreign Affairs and Relations Division). The Bureau's Director informed the PBI delegation of the visits to the DSI in 2018 by the delegation of law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and judges from Brazil, Belgium and Nepal for strengthening cooperation in the fight against transnational crime.
The officials of both agencies also exchanged perspectives and experience on investigations into cases, law enforcement and cooperation in crime suppression.
