DSI met with the immigration officers and police officers from Democratic Republic of Timor-leste
On April 25, 2018, at 9.00 am., Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha, Ph.D., the Expert on Human Trafficking and Narcotics Crime, was assigned by the DSI's Director-General to head the DSI's team in welcoming immigration officers and police officers of Democratic Republic of Timor-leste led by Mr. Boavida Ribiero, the Director General of the Immigration Service of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. On this occasion, the DSI's team presented their performance on anti-human trafficking and answered questions about their operations. The meeting contributed to knowledge sharing and learning from experience of each country as well as understanding of anti-human trafficking operations by the DSI and Thai government agencies to the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) as the coordinator of this meeting.
