Cooperation on the Fight against Transnational Human Trafficking between the DSI and the INTERPOL in France

 

 

 

           On July 15-21, 2017, invited by the INTERPOL’s Organized and Emerging Crime Sub-Directorate (OEC-VCO), the DSI’s Deputy Director-General Pol.Col. Songsak Raksaksakul, Pol.Col. Akarapol Punyopashtambha, Expert on Human Trafficking and Narcotics Crime, and Pol.Lt.Col. Saowalak Yolao, Special Case Inquiry Official, Senior Professional Level, participated in the meeting with Mr. Cem KOLCU, Head of the Police Coordinator for the Trafficking in Human Beings Unit and the officer of the Vulnerable Communities, INTERPOL, in Lyon, France.

          The purpose of the meeting was to exchange information on the human trafficking situations at national and regional levels and to form a network for the fight against transnational human trafficking and to start seeking and laying down a guideline for working between the DSI and the INTERPOL.
