DSI informed injured persons deceived by Aussie Oil Energy Company Limited to make complaints and denunciations in the special case no. 252/2565
The DSI started to investigate this case after obtaining complaints from the public about the Aussie Oil Energy Company Limited and others jointly convincing people to invest in franchises and investment contracts of various businesses, namely, coin-operated fuel vending machines, fuel for agriculture, fuel storage, community power plants, electric garbage trucks, etc., causing a number of people to believe and make investment with the said company. Later, the company cannot pay the return to the investors as promised, causing damage to many injured persons.
Mr. Triyarith Temahivong (the Director-General of the DSI) therefore ordered his Deputy Director-General Pol.Lt.Col. Phayao Thongsen (overseeing Illegal Financial Business Crime Bureau) to assign the Illegal Financial Business Crime Bureau to urgently investigate the said case. Investigations revealed the actions of the Aussie Oil Energy Company Limited and others are likely to be an offence according to the Emergency Decree on Loans of Money Amounting to Public Cheating and Fraud B.E. 2527 (1984). The circumstance of the crime commission is complicated with serious effect upon public order or morals, and the country’s economy regarded as a criminal offence with its nature as a special case subject to Section 21, paragraph one (1) (a), (b) of the Special Case Investigation Act, B.E. 2547 (2004) and the Notification of the Board of Special Case (No.8) B.E. 2565 (2022) on Determination of the Nature of Crime Regarded as the Special Case under Section 21 Paragraph One (1) of the Special Case Investigation Act, B.E. 2547 (2004). The Director-General of the DSI therefore issued the order to conduct inquiry into the said case as a special case (the special case no. 252/2565).
The DSI would like to inform the injured persons suffered from the acts of the Aussie Oil Energy Company Limited and others to make complaints and denunciations with the special case inquiry officials for further prosecutions against the offenders by registering to arrange interview appointments with the special case inquiry officials via its QR code starting from August 1, 2022. The injured persons from the said deception can request additional information from the special case inquiry officials of Illegal Financial Business Crime Bureau via telephone at 02 831 9888 ext. 51196 or the DSI hotline 1202 during office hours.
