On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at approximately 4:50 p.m., the Surveillance and Intelligence Center, in coordination with the police officers of Bangsaphan Police Station arrested Miss Kulaphat (surname withheld), a suspect pursuant to Criminal Crime Court arrest warrant no.1644/2569, dated March 20, 2020. The suspect was accused of conspiring by two or more persons to commit the offense of money laundering and committed money laundering in consequence of conspiracy and jointly committing money laundering. The officers arrested the suspect at the footpath in front of a house in Bangsaphan district, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The officers informed the suspect of her charges and legal rights under the Criminal Procedure Code, as well as the requirement to continuously record a video and audio in the process of the arrest and detention until the suspect is transferred to the special case inquiry officials, following the Prevention and Suppression of Torture and Enforced Disappearance Act, B.E. 2565 (2022). The suspect was then transferred to the special case inquiry officials for further legal proceedings.
The aforementioned case is Special Case No. 64/2567 of the Bureau of Technology and Cyber Crime, in which Miss Kulaphat has committed wrong doings with Mr. Thanthai, Mr. Hemrat or “Oat” and other people who opened and advertised online gambling website. Furthermore, receive transfers from Mr. Thanthai to conceal sources of funds.
The operation to track and arrest the suspect under the special case arrest warrant was conducted in accordance with the directives of Police Major Yutthana Praedam, Director General of the DSI, and Police Major Jatupol Bongkochmas, Deputy Director General of the DSI. They assigned the Surveillance and Intelligence Center, a unit under the Director General’s direct supervision, to organize operation teams to track and apprehend suspects wanted under arrest warrants, in order to bring the alleged offenders who remain at large to justice.
