DSI received a complaint about fraud from the National New Life of Teacher Club
On Thursday, March 4, 2021, 1.30 p.m. at the DSI, Pol.Col. Akarapol Punyopashtambha (a Deputy Director-General), assigned by the Director-General, received a complaint from representatives of the victims as members of the National New Life of Teacher Club that over 8,000 teachers were cheated and defrauded by Mr. Natchapon Wongvises, the president of the Social Security Private Fund For Social Welfare, who claimed to help resolve debt problems of the teacher club under the project to solve debts without interests. The total of damages exceeds 20 million baht.
The DSI under the Ministry of Justice will provide fairness to the suffered teachers. According to preliminary information, there are many suspicions. Thus the DSI will thoroughly consider the details and collect evidence for action under it authority.
