Louis Vuitton praised DSI for its work to counter intellectual property crime

 

 

       On March 31, 2021, 2.30 p.m. at the DSI, the Director-General Pol.Lt.Col. Korrawat Panprapakorn, his deputy Pol.Col. Akarapol Punyopashtambha, the Director of Intellectual Property Crime Bureau Pol.Lt.Col. Phayao Thongsen and his officials attended an appreciation ceremony held online via Zoom application by Louis Vuitton Malletier, the Republic of France under the coordination of the authorized lawyer of Louis Vuitton Malletier in Thailand Mr. Satyapon Sachdecha. The participants from Louis Vuitton Malletier comprised Mr. Mayank Vaid (Intellectual Property Director for Asia Pacific and China (Civil) of Louis Vuitton in Hongkong) and Mrs. Valerie Sonnier (Global IP Director of Louis Vuitton Malletier in France). The appreciation ceremony started from the opening speech of Mr. Vaid, then Mrs. Sonneier expressed her appreciation and praise for the work to counter intellectual property crime of the DSI and its officials performing duties with determination and dedication with great success in enforcing intellectual property laws over the year 2020. The certificates of appreciation for efficient, effective prevention and suppression of infringement of trademark and intellectual property of Louis Vuitton in the Kingdom of Thailand by the DSI were delivered to the Director-General, his deputy and the Bureau Director.
