On February 24, 2021, at 9.30 a.m., Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha (a Deputy Director-General and the Spokesperson of the DSI) was assigned by the Director-General to give an interview to the television program called “Fact Investigative” of the NationTV 22 about a case of the corruption of rubber gloves. The spokesperson detailed the investigations into the said case by the DSI and the submission of this case to the National Anti-Corruption Commission for further legal proceedings, due to the involvement of high-ranking government officials.
